Our school dinners are prepared and cooked offsite and are delivered daily to be served in our dining hall. We order dinner numbers by 9.15am so the school office needs to be informed of any changes by this time.
Infants receive free school meals under the ‘Universal Free School Meals’ scheme.
School meals for junior children are £2.20 per day from September 20.
We use an online system called ParentPay and all parent/carers receive login details. All dinner money is paid via this system. Payments can be received one day at a time or paid termly. We ask that accounts do not go into arrears.
Free school meals
It is easy to apply for free school meals and you only need to do it once throughout the entire school life of your child (subject to no changes in circumstances). You can apply online at www.derbyshire.gov.uk/freeschool meals or by telephone on 01629 535743 / 01629 536400 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you think you are eligible, it is really important to register even for infant pupils who receive ‘Universal Free School Meals’ as the school will receive pupil premium for your child. This funding is completely confidential.
Every child under the age of five is entitled to free school milk. You will be asked on enrolment if you would like us to register your child.
Every child over the age of five is entitled to milk at a subsidised price of around £14 per term. Parent/Carers would need to register for this online - see information on the documents below.
